Metal Shelf Unit, $19.98, Bunnings

Whiteboard/Corkboard, $33.36, Officeworks

I love the Paris dining chair, it's so unique, simple, modern and style and it's an affordable price! The metal shelf unit gives the room an industrial look which you can decorate the shelves with modern pieces such as vases and ornaments. Even painting the frame with an enamel paint. To learn how to paint a metal frame go to eHow. With the whiteboard/corkboard, paint the wooden frame and corkboard white for a modern and clean cut look. Soon enough, I will do this myself and post pictures! At the moment, this remains my inspiration.

Lanterns

Do you ever look at your room and feel like you should do something to it but don't have the money and/or time? Yeah, I have the same dilemma. I look at my room and I just want to fix it up, organise everything, maybe style it up a little bit but it's so much effort, time and money consuming. Well, I have some tips, which I probably should take into recommendation for myself. I'm loving the trend of the "clustered lantern" look. My bedroom at the moment is such a wreck so I'm not even going to take a picture and post everyone a monument of my failure to be organised, but I'll show you one of the things I would like to accomplish on the Easter Holidays.

I wish my room looked like this. So depressing.

CLUSTERED LANTERNS! Ah, I get so excited over lanterns. They're so beautiful and especially on Chinese New Year, they're amazing. You can get lanterns for $20 at Typo.

Lanterns, $20, Typo

Lanterns, $24.95, Chinatown

Pom Pom Lanterns, DIY, Martha Stewart

Remember, for your cluster of lanterns to look interesting and vibrant, use a mixture of complimentary or split complementary colours. Too much contrasts will draw to much attention away from the design of the lanterns which is what makes them interesting.
